1. Product warranty

Any products purchased from Linear Furnishings (Linear Furnishings Pte Ltd) online and offline shop would be covered by warranty for a duration of one (1) year from the date of purchase according to the invoice. Warranty will cover the replacement of defective parts of the furniture not amounting to negligence and mishandling. Customers could file your complaint online via email at cs@linearfurnishings.com.sg

Replacement of parts - Customers are required to provide clear pictures and description to illustrate the defect for documentation and upon approval, we will provide FOC replacement. Please note that warranty coverage is offsite nature and a flat fee of SGD $45.00 would be charged for delivery.

2. Returns Policy

  1. For walk-in or project based customers, a 50% deposit (the "Deposit") is required upon booking confirmation of your product(s). The balance payment is to be paid upon delivery of product(s). If full payment is not received as stated above, we reserve the right to forfeit the amount that is paid upfront and cancel the order(s).
  2. A 10% of the product price is non-refundable if you cancel booking(s) within 24 hours.
  3. A 60% of the product price is non-refundable if you cancel booking(s) within 48 hours.
  4. Do note that cancellations, exchange or refund do not include product(s) that are customised/custom-made or on clearance product(s).
  5. Once product(s) are in transit to customs, they are not refundable or exchangeable. 

3. Booking and Payment  

Please review our terms of service before purchasing from our website to understand our refund, return, and exchange policies, as well as your legal rights. We suggest promptly inspecting delivered or collected goods to ensure satisfaction with quality and description. The terms below are defined: "the Company" or "we" as Linear Furnishings Pte Ltd; "Purchase" as booking, reserving, or purchasing; and "Product" as all components in the provided quotation.

4. Replace, Exchange and Refund

Returns must be done within three (3) working days starting from the day of the product(s) delivered to you. You may initiate a return of your product(s) below for any of the Valid Return:

  1. If you received the wrong product(s) in your package, we can exchange and replace the new product(s), or you may want to get a 100% refund with the returned product(s).
  2. If your product(s) arrive defective or damaged, our team will assess the situation and facilitate an exchange, replacement, or refund of up to 30% of the product. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
  3. If your product(s) sustains damage that is unusable upon arrival with the following assessment, we can arrange 1 to 1 exchange, replacement or provide a full refund.
  4. For exchange product, you are allowed to exchange the product(s) which should be equal to the price that you have bought, if the price of exchange product(s) is lower than the original product, we will not able to refund you the balance; if the price of exchange product(s) is higher than the original product, you may need to top-up the difference.
  5. Do note that cancellations, exchange or refund do not include product(s) that are customised/custom-made or on clearance product(s).
  6. The general requirements for returns, exchange and refund are as follows:
    • Proof of purchase (order invoice number and receipt).
    • The product(s) must be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition with its original packaging fully intact. Linear Furnishings has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.
    • Product(s) must not have been used or installed or had any data inputted.
    • Once the product(s) has been installed, it cannot be refunded or exchanged.

*If delivery has taken place, the refund will exclude delivery charges paid.

*Only one exchange is allowed per purchase. Further exchange will not be eligible for refund unless faulty.

If your return meets all the requirements above and you wish to proceed with the return, please have your order invoice number ready and simply visit our showroom or contact us via phone or email.

  1. We will verify the return reason(s) and you will need to deliver the product to our showroom.
  2. We will conduct an evaluation within seven (7) working days starting from the day we receive your returned item(s). You will receive an email confirmation once the returned item is received from our end.

If your return is valid, we will process your refund within thirty (30) days or replacement as per our delivery terms. If it’s valid, we will reimburse you with a refund through the same mode of payment that was made in the original purchase.

If your return is not valid, we will notify you and arrange the items to be returned. For the items to be returned, a delivery fee will be chargeable. We reserve the right to reject any return(s), exchange, refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

Linear Furnishings reserves the rights to reject any exchange or refund for an opened or used product. We shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses as a result.

5. Shipping

Standard Shipping Time:

  • 15 to 30 working days for non-customised/custom-made products. 

Customised/Custom-Made Products:

  • Shipping may take longer than the standard delivery time.

Additional Delays of extra 5 to 10 working days might be needed if: 

  • Peak Seasons: November, December, January, or any other Public Holidays.
  • Unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters.
  • Customs inspections.

Please do ensure that the timeline works for you before placing your online order!

 

6. Local Delivery

Order(s) less than SGD $299.99 comes with a flat local delivery fee of SGD $45.00. Standard local delivery is free for order(s) more SGD $300.00.

ADD-ON Services & Charges

If you choose to separate your order(s) into different shipments, delivery charges and add-on fees apply per shipment/delivery.

  • Carry-up Service is required for delivery to any location above ground floor without direct, unobstructed lift access. This includes carrying furniture up any flight of stairs within apartments or landed property. 

Common scenarios include:

  • Stairs within landed properties and HDB maisonette
  • Walk-up apartments with no direct lift access
  • Lift doorways that are too narrow for the furniture items to fit through

Carry-up service is charged at SGD $40.00 per level for every non-lift accessible level.

7. Disposal Fee 

Linear Furnishings is not responsible for clearing any unwanted furniture located at the customer’s premises or other assigned locations. However, special requirements to clear any unwanted furniture could be arranged. Disposal fee will be charged if you require this service.

This service is only available to customers who purchase product(s) from Linear Furnishings. 

8. Uncollected Items

You are required to collect your item within one (1) week. Linear Furnishings reserves the right to impose a storage fee of SGD $30.00 per week for any uncollected item(s) in our showroom.

9. Unwanted Items 

Any items left in our showroom for a duration of more than ninety (90) days without notice would be classified as unwanted. Linear Furnishings reserve the right and ownership to claim these items or dispose of them.
